Shining Girls To Release On OTT Soon, Here's All You Need To Know About It

Fans have been waiting for the release of the new crime thriller, Shining Girls since the OTT platform first announced the crime thriller series to the public. Here's all you need to know about Shining Girls release date and time if you're planning on watching it.

The Shining Girls is a new American thriller series based on Lauren Beukes' 2013 novel of the same name. In addition to Jamie Bell, Phillipa Soo, and Amy Brenneman, they will play supporting roles in the series, which will star Elisabeth Moss and Wagner Moura as the main characters. The series will premiere on the OTT platform Apple TV.

Moss will also serve as a director and producer for the project. Apple enlisted Silk Luisa (writer/creator) to adapt the novel into a TV series for their platform. She is also listed as the showrunner for Shining Girls. Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson, and Michael Hampton joined the project as executive producers through his business, Appian Way.

The first trailer for ">Shining Girls was released on March 29th, and the clip indicates that the series will have plenty of twists and turns. The roughly two-minute teaser shows Moss's frantic character attempting to find the mysterious killer and come to terms with her role in the crime.

Shining Girls Plot:

Kirby Mazrachi, a Chicago reporter, survives a brutal attack only to discover that her world is shifting as she chases her perpetrator. Kirby links up with professional but unstable reporter Dan Velazquez to track down her assailant after discovering that a recent murder case is strikingly similar to her own. Their own personal traumas, as well as Kirby's cloudy reality, allow her assailant to keep one step ahead as they grow aware that these cold cases are linked.

The crime, drama, and thriller series will include eight episodes and will be released on Apple TV+ on April 29, 2022. The first three episodes will be available on the streaming site right now, with a new episode uploaded every Friday after that.
