I Will See You Again: Shehnaaz Gill Remembers Late Sidharth Shukla

It has been more than a year since one of the country's most loved entertainment personalities Sidharth Shukla tragically passed away at 40 due to a cardiac arrest on September 2, 2021. Today marks the late actor's birth anniversary and Shehnaaz Gill, his closest friend in the industry with whom he shared a beautiful bond, celebrated him through a heartwarming series of stories and posts on her social media.

Shehnaaz Gill met Sidharth Shukla for the first time at the Bigg Boss house when they participated in season 13 of the reality show. Gill and Shukla became massive support systems for each other long after the show. Their beautiful connection was known to the world and Gill, who lost her closest ally in the industry, always makes it a point to honour the late actor whenever she can.

Shehnaaz Gill On Sidharth Shukla

Shehnaaz Gill took to her Instagram to remember Sidharth Shukla on his birth anniversary. She posted a photo of him from the Bigg Boss days in which he can be seen standing on the stage wearing a suit, smiling and looking up. She captioned the photo writing, "I will see you again. 12/12"

Gill also shared a series of photos on her Instagram stories. The stories include pictures of cakes dedicated to Shukla and a heartwarming picture of the two holding hands.

This isn't the first time Gill has paid a tribute to Shukla. Recently, after she won the 'Rising Star of Bollywood Award' at the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night in Dubai, she thanked Sidharth Shukla in her speech and dedicated her award to him saying, "Thank you, for coming into my life. Whatever I am today is because of you. This is for you, Sidharth Shukla."

Apart from Bigg Boss Season 13, the duo also appeared together in the super hit music videos Shona Shona and Bhula Dunga. Post Shukla's demise, Gill released a music video titled 'Tu Yaheen Hai' as a tribute to him and shared some unseen moments from their life in it.

Popularly known as 'SidNaaz,' Gill and Shukla continue to have one of the largest fandoms in the country as their fans leave no stone unturned in honouring their memories together and supporting Gill in all her endeavours.
