Sonakshi then emphasises the significance of their upcoming union, saying, "The moment where we go from being each other’s rumoured girlfriend and boyfriend." Zaheer continues, "To being each other’s definite and official husband and wife." The invitation concludes with a celebratory note, "Finally! This celebration will not be complete without you, so drop whatever you’re doing on the 23rd of June and come party with us."

Amidst growing speculation, both her father, Shatrughan Sinha, and her brother, Luv Sinha, have shared their reactions. Heeramandi actor herself addressed the rumours in a conversation with iDiva, stating, "Firstly, it's nobody's business. Secondly, it is my choice, so I don't know why people are so concerned about it. People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, which I find very funny. Now, I am just used to it. It doesn't bother me. People are curious; what can we do about it?”

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Luv Sinha commented, "I won't be commenting. It's better if you reach out to Sonakshi or the other person. All I can say is that I have nothing to say on this matter." However, her father, veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, has stated that he is still "waiting to be informed" about these plans.

Shatrughan Sinha, who has been preoccupied with the general elections until recently, shared his thoughts with Times Now. Currently in Delhi, he revealed that he hasn't discussed his daughter's wedding plans with anyone. "Main bhi utna hi jaanta hoon jitna media mein maine padha hai (I only know what I’ve read in the news)," he said.

However, Shatrughan expressed some frustration about being out of the loop regarding this significant life event. He mentioned that people close to him have been questioning why he isn't aware of his daughter's wedding plans, while the media seems to have more information. "All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maa-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain (Nowadays, children don’t seek permission; they simply inform their parents). We are waiting to be informed," he said.

A friend of Sonakshi Sinha spoke to Zoom about the actor’s rumoured wedding, revealing, "I have received an invitation to celebrate with the couple on the evening of June 23. But there’s no mention of an actual wedding. From what I know, they have already gone through a registered marriage, or may do so on the morning of June 23. But there’s not going to be any elaborative wedding as such, just a party."
