A smiling Tagore posed for the camera while Tiger Pataudi looked serious. Sharing the photo, Saba wrote, "Two Great people.... Who were simply meant to be The BEST parents (sic)."
Tagore's fans were quick to react, while one user called it "priceless", another wrote, "Two great people with great lineage." Yet another wrote that Saba's parents were the "original power couple" as both were "trendsetters in their respective places of work". A fan also complimented Tiger Pataudi's 70s-style pants.
Here’s how Sharmila Tagore reacted when she rewatched Chupke Chupke recently.
A few days back, Saba had shared a beautiful throwback picture of her parents on Instagram to wish her fans on Ramadan: Sharmila Tagore unseen photo
In the picture, Tagore flaunted a smile as always, while Pataudi looked dapper. Along with the picture, Saba had written, “Ramadan Mubarak...and Shubho Noboborsho to everyone! It's not one or the other... We don't have to choose. Faith is personal and life is a celebration. We are all #unique.” The couple got married in 1968 and had three children together- son Saif Ali Khan and daughters Soha and Saba Ali Khan. Saif and Soha are actors while Saba is a jewellery designer and custodian of the family properties in Bhopal.
In a recent&t=729s"> interview, Tagore opened up how she was blamed for Tiger Pataudi's poor performance on the field. She claimed it was none other than but her own father, Gitindranath Tagore, who had blamed her for jinxing Tiger’s performance. She had revealed that once her late husband Tiger Pataudi had probably “dropped a catch” and “my father screamed from somewhere else, ‘You shouldn’t have kept him up all night!’ I mean, can you imagine?”
