Sharmila Tagore Starrer Gulmohar First-Look Out, Family Drama To Release On OTT

Gulmohar, the upcoming movie which stars Sharmila Tagore, Amol Palekar, Simran, Suraj Sharma, Manoj Bajpayee is slated to release soon. The makers have released the first-look poster for the film on February 8.

Gulmohar is a multigenerational family drama with a Delhi setting that features a stellar ensemble, including the veteran actor Sharmila Tagore. The film is marked as her OTT debut. In a statement,  Tagore said, "Gulmohar is a household story that is relatable to everyone. It explores how families can bridge the gap between tradition and modernity with love and warmth. I am eager to watch the audience's response when it debuts on Disney+ Hotstar." Tagore last appeared in the 2010 film Break Ke Baad, which starred Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan.

Gulmohar, which is being directed by Rahul Chittella and written by Rahul Chittella and Arpita Mukherjee, looks to be a heartwarming family drama filled with touching relationships and relatable moments.

Gulmohar First-Look Poster Out:

Gulmohar's first-look poster was posted on the official Disney+ Hotstar Instagram account. The post said, "Miliye Manoj-ji ki family se - Aa raha hai Batra parivaar in Gulmohar - streaming on 3rd March #GulmoharOnHotstar."

"This moving out triggers a re-discovery of the bonds that have held them together as a family, while grappling with personal secrets and insecurities," the synopsis of the movie reads.

Manoj Bajpayee added, "With the movie Gulmohar, I'm taking on a new challenge and veering away from my typical roles. Gulmohar is a movie full of affection, tenderness, and consolation. It investigates the various ties that exist within a family as well as what makes a house a home. The movie will be available on Disney+ Hotstar on March 3 and I can't wait for families to watch it together."

For those who missed it, Manoj Bajpaye recently posted a video on social media with the promise to introduce his family to his fans. "Family ke saath aa raha hoon. swagat nahin karoge humara?" the actor wrote. Everyone anticipated that he would be announcing the third season of his show, "Family Man." But it concerned his most recent movie, Gulmohar.
