According to her, she is nervous because she wants to do her best work as this isn't just her first movie, it is the first step toward having a successful career in Bollywood. And happy because she has worked so hard for so long to realise her childhood dream. She added that it's a really special film for the entire Bedhadak crew, and Gurfateh Pirzada, Lakshya Lalwani, and she have all put a lot of effort into it. She is really delighted to have got an opportunity like Bedhadak and this film is very close to her heart.

Kapoor recently appeared in the second season of Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives. The show starred Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari Soni, Bhavna Pandey, and Seema Sajdeh. She also worked as an assistant director for Gujan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which is also a Johar's production film and stars her cousin Janhvi Kapoor.
Moreover, several of Shanaya Kapoor's younger peers, including BFF Ananya Panday, have found success thanks to Johar.
