Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt joint production Darlings: Actor Alia Bhatt is making a foray into film production. On Monday, Bhatt took to her social media pages and announced the name of her production house.
She shared the logo of Eternal Sunshine Productions and also announced her first film Darlings as a producer in collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.
Actor-producer Khan too took to social media to announce the next venture, Darlings. The film will star Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah in the lead role.

Announcing it on her social media the Highway actor wrote: “This one’s special! Announcing Darlings, my first ever production under Eternal Sunshine Productions, in association with SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment.”

Here are eight things to know about the film:
1. Titled Darlings, reportedly, the film will be a dark comedy based on women, starring Bhatt along with Shefali Shah, Vijay Verma and Roshan Mathew in crucial roles.
2. The 38-second teaser starts with a statutory warning stating – "Auraton ka apmaan, apki sehat ke lie haanikaarak, bahut haanikaarak ho sakta hai (Disrespecting women can be extremely injurious to your health)" and ends with "Yeh comedy thodi dark hai’ (This comedy is a bit dark)." The teaser hinted at the film’s women-centric plot.
3. The film also marks the directorial debut of Jasmeet K Reen. Sharing in a statement, Bhatt said that she is excited about her new journey. "I am really excited to be part of Darlings; it's a powerful story with a lot of humour and doses of dark comedy. I am thrilled to have Darlings as my first film as producer, that too in collaboration with my favourite, Shah Rukh Khan and Red Chillies."
4. According to The Indian Express, Darlings is said to be a story of a mother-daughter duo who belongs to a lower-middle-class neighbourhood in Mumbai.
5. Unveiling the logo of the company, Bhatt tweeted, "And I am so happy to announce…. PRODUCTION! Eternal Sunshine Productions. Let us tell you tales. Happy tales. Warm and fuzzy tales. Real tales. Timeless tales." The logo has illustrations of two cats.

6. Jasmeet said, "With the brilliant Alia and Shefali portraying the mother-daughter duo, along with exceptionally talented Vijay (Varma) and Roshan (Mathew) we have a dream cast and the perfect partners in crime’ if I can call them that. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and now I can’t wait to get on the floor!"
7. Bhatt has earlier shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in the movie, Dear Zindagi, in 2016.
8. On the work front, Bhatt will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy. She has recently dropped the poster and teaser of her next film Gangubai Kathiawadi directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which arrives in theatres on July 30.
