Shah Rukh Khan and acid attack survivors: The message he gave
As the video call session neared its end, the Zero all the survivors to take care of themselves, not to worry in times of ups and downs and take it in a good stride. He further said that he doubts if there is any pain or struggle so difficult as the one they are going through. However, despite going through such a difficult phase, all of them have smiles on their faces and that made him happy. Khan concluded the session saying, "It gives me so much happiness to see you take on challenges with such grit and determination, you're fighting this through. And so I can only pray that we continue to share happiness with each other, for all our lifetime."

Shah Rukh Khan and gender equality
In 2016, he penned down a short poem dedicated to all women and their strength. A line of the poem says, "You're beautiful because you fight like a girl." The very phrase "like a girl" has been used as an 'insult' since ages. Seeing it being put to use to empower women truly deserves an applause because that is how it should be. Read more on it here.
Recently, Khan held an #AskMeAnything session on Twitter and once again brought forth his feminist side. When a fan asked him for tips to woo a girl by tweeting, "ladki patane ke liye ek do tips do", he responded saying, "Start with not using the word 'Patana' for a for a girl. Try with more gentleness and respect."

Another fan asked him what his wife Gauri Khan loved about him. To this, he replied saying that he cooks, cleans and looks after the babies. Bringing his humorous side to the front, he added, "And I guess being so handsome helps too..."
