Taapsee Pannu Wins Praise For Mithali Raj Biopic, 'Shabaash Mithu' Trailer

Shabaash Mithu, starring Taapsee Pannu, released its trailer on June 20. Mithali Raj, the former captain of the Indian women's cricket team who recently retired from international cricket, is the subject of the film. Raj's 10,000 runs in ODI matches during her 23-year career shattered and set numerous records. In her biopic, Pannu will portray the famous cricket player. Fans were quick to take to Twitter to share their delight. Many viewers appeared to be thrilled by the trailer, with many expressing an interest in seeing the picture on the big screen.

The video appeared to be a 'winner,' according to one user. Another person mentioned how amazed they were with the young woman who played Raj's younger self in the film, and how well it looked.
