Congress workers were baton-charged by police when they were protesting against the shooting of an upcoming film of Kangana Ranaut in Sarni, Madhya Pradesh. Police also lodged cases against the Congress workers, following which the MLA and others associated with the party submitted a memorandum to the district collector. The police reportedly used water cannons against the Congress workers who were trying to march to the location in Sarni where Ranaut's film was being shot.
