The comedy series starring Volodymyr Zelensky, who was a comedian before he became the President of a now war-torn country , Servant of the People is back on the online streaming platform. For the last few days, since the beginning of the war by Russia against Ukraine, Zelensky has been lauded for standing for his country rather than getting evacuated.
The streaming platform, Netflix announced this on March 16. The streaming platform tweeted, "You asked and it's back." This move comes amidst the war. Vladimir Putin-led Russia had started invading Ukraine last month. According to Putin, they were trying to demilitarise Ukraine.
But in the past few days, as Ukraine broils in war and fights back, the visuals of attacks on civilians and journalists have taken over the world. As people and leaders extend support to Ukraine's courage, Zelensky has gained global popularity. On Tuesday, he addressed the US Congress via video link and plead for more weaponry as well as a no-fly zone for Ukraine to survive. He received a standing ovation.
