Selling Sunset season 6 release date is the much-awaited announcement among the fans of the Netflix reality show. The show recently aired its fifth season and fans can't wait to get more of the show.
Selling Sunset is an American reality show that features the American real estate firm Oppenheim Group which deals with the brokerage of luxurious and high-end properties in Los Angeles. The show follows the founders of the firm and twin brothers Jason and Brett Oppenheim along with a group of female agents who crack and manage property deals while giving a glimpse of their personal lives as well.
All About Selling Sunset Season 6 Release Date
Selling Sunset premiered on March 21, 2019, and has had 5 seasons till now, the fifth of which started streaming on April 22, 2022. The fifth season also had a reunion episode which aired on May 6, 2022. The show stars Brett and Jason Oppenheim as the main cast along with actor and real estate agent Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Christine Quinn, Maya Vander and Heather Rae El Moussa. The show is a Primetime Emmy nominee for the Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program category.
As for the cast of season 6, it is expected that a few of the members of the main cast might not return for the next season. This includes Maya Vendor who announced that there might be chances of her not being in season 6 as she wants to spend some time with her family in Miami. Maya had also announced her new venture The Maya Vendor Group in February 2022 in Miami which might hint at her exit from the show.
Meanwhile, Christine Quinn too might not return because of her issues with others. She also did not appear in the reunion episode due to testing positive for Covid. She also announced the launch of RealOpen.com, a real estate venture with her husband, which might confirm her exit from the show.
The show was earlier criticised for using the female real estate agents just for show and glamour as they were not really agents. Chrishell slammed the criticism by posting her real estate license on her social media. Chrishell is also in the news recently for confirming her relationship with nonbinary singer G Flip on the reunion episode of the Selling Sunset season 5.
The filming of season 5 and season 6 reportedly took place around the same time and therefore the fans can expect season 6 to come out soon. As of now, neither the makers nor Netflix has released any statement regarding the return of the show.
