Who Is Samiksha? Bhumi Pednekar's Sister Shuts Down Plastic Surgery Accusations

Bhumi Pednekar's sister, Samiksha Pednekar, recently took a stand against trolls in a recent Instagram post. The sisters shared a fun makeup video but soon faced negative comments about their appearance. On April 14, Samiksha posted a video on Instagram showing her and Bhumi applying lipstick in front of the camera, smiling together. She captioned it, "Me and my best friend ⭐️."

However, some users left derogatory comments implying that the sisters had undergone plastic surgery. One comment suggested they had the "same surgeon," to which Samiksha retorted, "Or same parents? Maybe?" Another user joked about "life in plastic," prompting Samiksha to question, "What plastic?"

Despite the negativity, some fans admired their resemblance and praised their beauty. One fan humorously asked, "But who is Bhumi?? I am totally confused. Aap log ke shoot me bhi proxy marte ho (Do you apply proxy during shoots)?" Samiksha playfully responded, "Haha maybe!" Another fan joked that they were twins, to which Samiksha agreed, "Even I think so."

Who Is Samiksha Pednekar ?

Born to Satish Motiram Pednekar, the late home and labour minister of Maharashtra, and Sumitra Pednekar, a renowned social activist, Samiksha’s career spans law, social media influencing, and entrepreneurship.

She attended Smt. RSB Arya Vidya Mandir in Juhu for her schooling and pursued further studies at Jindal Global Law School in Sonipat, Haryana, specialising in BBA LLB honours. Rumours suggest she is dating Amit Patil, also a lawyer in Mumbai.  In December 2021, she reportedly assumed the role of director at 1 Earth Films Private Limited. Subsequently, in January 2022, Samiksha became the director of her venture, Pednekar Industries Private Limited, based in Mumbai, India.

Meanwhile, Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in the film Bhakshak, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. The movie follows the journey of a determined woman seeking justice, with Bhumi portraying a journalist investigating a case of child sexual assault at a girls' shelter home.
