Actor Sambhavna Seth, who recently lost her father to COVID-19 took to Instagram to post a cyrptic message about his demise. Days ahead of her father's death, Seth was desperately looking for a hospital bed for her father in Delhi.
The actor recently shared a post on Instagram, along with a picture from her wedding with her late father and wrote that her father could have been saved. She also wrote that it was "not just COVID" that killed him. Many celebrities like Rakhi Sawant, Sushant Divgikar, Ram Kamal Mukherjee, Jasleen Matharu and Nisha Rawal commented on her post.
The actor's father passed away on May 8 following which her husband posted a statement on social media saying that Sabhavna Seth lost her father due to COVID-19 which lead to a cardiac arrest. He also asked people to keep him in their prayers. The post was shared on Seth's social media accounts.
Sambhavna Seth had put up a request on social media searching for a hospital bed for her father last month. In her tweet on April 30, the actor asked for help for her COVID positive father as he urgently needed a bed and was waiting outside the hospital with her brother.

Sambhavna Seth later claimed that she managed to get a hospital bed for her father only through social media intervention. The actor also said that she had decided to offer a helping hand to other people dealing with similar a crisis. "Providing covid related help to people whether its oxygen, food and medicines in these tough times gave us immense satisfaction. Seth talked to Times of India about her struggles to get medical help for her father earlier this month. She said that she felt helpless as she couldn't be with them during this time. "My father is old and has multiple health issues, my mother has a history of strokes, so when I got to know that they have Covid symptoms, I panicked, and I didn’t know what to do," she said.
The actor also said that she used to get panic attacks due to the situation and didn't know how to manage things. She went on to praise husband Avinash Dwivedi for his help and called him her support system.
