Samantha Ruth Prabhu films on OTT: Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who began her acting career in 2010, is slated to make her Hollywood debut in Philip John's Arrangements of Love. She has acted in several successful films in the South Indian film industry and also played a cameo in the 2012 blockbuster Ekk Deewana Tha. She also appeared as an antagonist in Manoj Bajpayee's blockbuster drama The Family Man in its second season.

She has primarily chosen to play the lead female character in hero-centric Telugu and Tamil films, with box office successes including Dookudu (2011), and the family dramas Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2012) and Attarintiki Daredi (2013), and Kaththi (2013). Her performance in the film Aa (2016) was similarly well received, and her subsequent flicks, Theri (2016), 24 (2016), Mersal (2017), Rangasthalam (2018), and Mahanati (2018), were all economically successful. She received more critical acclaim for her roles in the 2019 films Super Deluxe, Majili, and Oh! Baby, as well as her only feature in 2020, Jaanu.

Oh! Baby  (2019)

Oh! Baby is a fantasy comedy film in Telugu. The film is a remake of the 2014 South Korean film Miss Granny, in which Savitri, a 70-year-old woman who is unhappy with her life, blames her issues on God. She is changed into a gorgeous 24-year-old girl, played by Prabhu when she has her portrait taken at a studio. It is available on Netflix.

Super Deluxe  (2019)

Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Ramya Krishnan appear in this Tamil-language film.  The protagonists in each of the four stories in Super Deluxe are put to the ultimate test in the most unexpected of ways. The scenario in which the married pair, Vembu (Samantha) and Mukil (Faasil), find themselves is a test of their marriage. It's a test of her love for Shilpa (Vijay Sethupathi), a transgender woman who has returned to her family. It is a test of faith for Arputham (Mysskin), who has survived the tsunami and discovered a new God, and Leela (Ramya Krishnan), a former porn star who is anxiously attempting to save her wounded son, Soori. It is available on Netflix.

U Turn (2018)

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aadhi Pinisetty, Bhumika Chawla, and Rahul Ravindran appear in this mystery thriller. The story follows Rachana (Prabhu), a journalism intern who investigates traffic violations on a flyover, where many vehicles manually remove a divider to make a U-Turn. Rachana is arrested by the police in the middle of the night and charged with murder before she even realizes it. While the entire police force suspects her, officer Nayak (Pinisetty) feels she is innocent and listens to her side of the story. They discover a strange sequence of strange murders among those who had taken the U-turn on the flyover as they investigate the case. The film is available on Netflix.

Rangasthalam (2018)

Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu appear in this Telugu-language historical action drama, which also has Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Naresh, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in significant supporting roles. Chitti Babu (Ram Charan), a quick-tempered nature personality with a hearing disability, lives in the fictional village of Rangasthalam, and Chitti Babu is in love with Ramalakshmi (Prabhu), a farmer who is initially unaware of his hearing condition. Kumar Babu (Aadhi Pinisetty), Chitti Babu's brother, is the opposite of his brother. When he returns from Dubai, he notices the plight of his town and decides to make a change. Mersal (2017)

Vijay, S. J. Surya, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, Hareesh Peradi, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu feature in this Tamil-language action thriller. The plot revolves around Maaran, a doctor who is wrongfully accused of murdering his colleague, Dr. Arjun Zachariah. He soon discovers that the real culprit is a doppelganger who wants to expose medical sector malfeasance. Maaran's fiancée, Tara, a media reporter, is played by Prabhu. It is available on Disney+Hotstar, Netflix and Zee 5.
