Saina Nehwal biopic trailer out: Parineeti Chopra-starrer Saina trailer released on International Women's Day.
Sharing the much-awaited trailer of the biopic on badminton player Saina Nehwal, actor Parineeti Chopra took to social media and announced, "This women's day I am proud to bring to you - SAINA." The film is all set to release in theatres on March 26.

Meanwhile, sharing the same on social media, badminton ace Saina Nehwal wrote, “Growing up and looking up to the women around me, I have always got inspired. This is my chance to inspire a little girl out there to follow her passion.”

Talking about the film, director Amole Gupte shared, "Saina has inspired millions of women out there and is a true example of a strong female icon in the country today and Parineeti has put a lot of effort to represent Saina authentically."
Young Saina
The child artiste, who plays the young Saina, Nysha said at the trailer launch, "I am actually nervous because this is the first time I am on stage in front of people." Nysha, who is a badminton champion herself, told the media, "I liked all the scenes and I was really excited when I was told that I would play Saina as she has been my inspiration."

The Hasee Toh Phasee actor, Chopra had told Filmfare in an interview that she has “worked hard” on the biopic and she wanted it to have a theatrical release. “Same goes with the Saina Nehwal biopic. All these films are so important to me. I have literally bet my life on them and worked hard on them. I would hate for them to have a compromised release,” she had said while talking about the release of Saina and her other upcoming film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
