Five Films Starring Sai Pallavi Streaming On OTT Platforms

The Indian actor Sai Pallavi, who has featured in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films over the years, has captured the audience’s attention in quite a short time. The 29-year-old actor rose to prominence with her role in the 2015 Malayalam film Premam.

The actor has shared the screen with prominent actors of the South Indian film industry and has also featured in a few roles as a child artist in films like Kasthooriman and Dhaam Dhoom. Pallavi will soon be seen in the upcoming film Virata Parvam, which was initially scheduled to release in April, alongside Rana Daggubati.

The Malayalam film starring Dulquer Salmaan and Sai Pallavi revolves around a married couple played by the actors, where the former has extreme anger issues. Salmaan’s character Siddharth often gets into trouble due to his anger issues and has problems with his wife Anjali, who detests his short temper. Siddharth’s temper leads the couple into unexpected trouble.

Athiran

The psychological thriller starring Sai Pallavi and Fahadh Faasil is reportedly inspired by the 2014 release Stonehearst Asylum. Set in a psychiatric asylum, the film revolves around a patient Nithya, who is kept in isolation for years. When Dr Nair, a psychiatrist, visits the mental asylum, he uncovers mysteries from the former’s past.

The 2020 anthology drama film explores the complexity of the relationship that we share with our loved ones. Among four different stories, Sai Pallavi stars in the one titled Oor Iravu alongside Prakash Raj. The actor plays a young girl Sumathi, who reunites with her family who disowned her after she elopes with her lover. Sumathi’s father, played by Prakash Raj, takes extreme steps believing that would restore the family’s honour and pride.

The Telugu comedy-action film features Nani, Sai Pallavi, and Bhumika Chawla in key roles. Nani, who dislikes his sister-in-law Jyothi played by Bhumika, leaves home to escape her and bumps into Pallavi. The two fall in love while Nani is unaware that she is actually Jyothi’s sister. Jyothi, who is the Warangal RTO officer, seizes two buses owned by a gangster. When the latter makes it a mission to murder her, Nani comes to her rescue.
