Check Out Keerthy Suresh Starrer 'Saani Kaayidham' Teaser Here

Saani Kaayidham skipped its theatrical release, as per reports. However, the Keerthy Suresh starrer film recently released its teaser online. It's a dark, revenge thriller in the Tamil language and is all set to release online on this date. Read more to know when and where to catch up on Keerthy's upcoming film.

The teaser begins with a black and white frame and shows a man overlooking a burning house, then the focus swiftly moves to the close-up shot of a woman carrying a revolver. This premise sets the tone and introduces the audience to what possible plot may lay ahead.

The colour tone changes to colour with the camera focused on Keerthy's character. With wandering eyes and a wound on her face, Keerthy's character sits there with a determined yet lost look on her face. She is wearing a plain saree with no makeup on. She says, "If someone throws a stone at us...we throw a stone back at them."

The scenes again go back to a darker mode, and she continues, "When someone spits on us, we spit right back at them. But if someone destroys everything, our dreams, our lives, our wishes, our world, everything and all he gets is prison time. So you even call it a vengeance?" By the end of her monologue, she tears up a little but gathers herself back with a firm disagreement on her face. Indicating an act of possible revenge as she walks up with the revolver and points it down at someone.

A minute and 32 seconds trailer end with her staring at a fire. The teaser is short and crisp, it hardly gives away anything but keeps the viewer hooked. Keerthy shared the teaser on her Twitter feed as well and wrote, "I have been waiting to show you all my favourite characters for a long time and there you go! Here's presenting Ponni and Sangaiyyah from #SaaniKaayidham."

Saani Kaayidham is directed by Arun Matheswaran and this time the director Selvaraghavan will be making his debut as an actor. The film is based on a real-life incident. It is a revenge thriller which is based in the 1980s. Selvaraghavan and Keerthy will be reportedly playing brother and sister in the film.
