Here's Everything You Need To Know About Rocket Boys Starring Jim Sarbh

The movie on the life history of Indian scientists Homi J Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai showcasing the Indian space and science programs is going to release on the OTT platform soon. The trailer of the series got released a few days back and people are already speculating the series to be a grand one.

Bhabha is considered to be the father of the Indian nuclear program while Sarabhai is credited to have pitched in the start of India's space program in the form of ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation).

Rocket Boys Release Date:

1. The period drama on the life of Indian scientists- Homi Jehangir Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai, Rocket Boys will be streaming from February 4, 2022. 

2. The show features Jim Sarbh, Ishwak Singh, Regina Cassandra among the main roles. 

3. The series has been directed by Marjavaan fame director-writer Abhay Pannu. He shared the trailer on January 20 on his social media profile and captioned it - "Witness the incredible journey of two extraordinary men – Dr. Homi J. Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai."

4. Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani, and Madhu Bhojwani, the series will be streaming on the SonyLIV OTT platform. The drama is produced under the banner Roy Kapur Films and Emmay Entertainment.

5. The first teaser of the series was released during the 75th Independence Day of India in 2021. The show-makers have also released a tribute in the form of videos and snippets on the birth anniversary of Dr. Homi Bhabha and the death anniversary of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. 

6. The trailer that was released four days back on YouTube has been viewed 19 million + times and is celebrated by the audience worldwide for taking up the life history of eminent scientists. 

7. The show also features former Indian president and "Missile Man of India" APJ Abdul Kalam briefly in the trailer. 

8. The nail-biting experience provided throughout the trailer in form of India's space journey in the pre-independence and post-independence eras is garnering praise from the viewers. 

9. One of the users exclaimed the excitement over the upcoming show by commenting- "As a physicist, this makes me so happy. I just hope this series is more detailed with science, and people come to know about the hard work of these brilliant minds and the importance of research in the development of a nation. "

Jim Sarbh, the Indian movie, and stage actor, who essays the role of Homi Jehangir Bhabha, has been appreciated in the past for his work in Made In Heaven, Flip, Padmaavat, Taish.

Regina Cassandra has been active prominently in the Tamil and Telugu movie industries. However, she also appeared in Sonam Kapoor starer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. 

Ishwak Singh has been part of many award-winning projects like Paatal Lok, Unpaused, Veere Di Wedding.
