10 Things To Know About Jim Sarbh Starrer Rocket Boys

Rocket Boys is a periodic drama series on SonyLiv that was released on February 4, 2022, and co-stars Ishwak Singh. The two actors play the two pioneers of the nuclear programme of India, Dr Vikram Sarabhai and Dr Homi Jahangir Bhabha.

The series explores the golden days post India's independence and follows India's journey towards nuclear and atomic advancement helmed by Dr Bhabha and Dr Sarabhai.

3. Dr Homi Jahangir Bhabha is known as 'The Father of Indian Nuclear Program' and Dr Vikram Sarabhai is known as 'The Father of the Indian Space Program'.
4. Rocket Boys not only depicts the journey of the two physicists of building India's glorious nuclear future but also shows their amiable friendship that was linked by their common love for science.
5. Three teasers of Jim Sarbh Rocket Boys were released on Independence Day, on Dr Homi J Bhabha's 112th birth anniversary and Dr Vikram Sarabhai's 50th death anniversary and the trailer dropped on January 20, 2022.
6. The series is directed by Naam Shabana fame Abhay Pannu and produced by a magnificent trio of Emmay Entertainment, Roy Kapur Films and Kaun Banegi Shikharwati fame Nikkhil Advani.
7. The cast has actors such as Padmavat and Sanju fame Jim Sarbh, Pataal Lok fame Ishwak Singh and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga fame Regina Cassandra.
8. The series remembers the nostalgic past with the scenes of the first Independence Day and post-independence debates with personalities like Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, CV Raman and APJ Abdul Kalam making heartwarming appearances.
