Rise And Fall Of Victoria Secret: New Docuseries On Lingerie Company To Release

Victoria Secret Docuseries: The OTT platform Hulu has announced a new three-part docuseries on Victoria Secret titled The Rise And Fall Of Victoria Secret.

According to a report, the docuseries will be investigative research exploring the inner working of the brand and how it became a household name. There will be first-hand accounts of the important persons linked with Victoria Secret. The series will be directed by Matt Tyrnauer, who has also worked as a journalist in the entertainment and lifestyle industry.

His earlier works are Studio 54, The Reagans, and Where's My Roy Cohn. Tyrnauer is also the executive producer behind the series along with Corey Reeser, production house Altimeter Films, Matt Goldberg, Brandon Caroll and Peter Berg. Elizabeth Rogers will also be part of the team. The docuseries is scheduled to hit the OTT screens in 2022 and will be distributed worldwide by Endeavor Content.

The lingerie company which became much more than the undergarments sold by them was launched in the 1970s. Victoria Secret Fashion Show is the most famous endeavours of the brand in which they collaborate with supermodels of the world to showcase their collections. However, in recent times, due to the decline in sales and popularity, the brand is losing its relevance. The accusation of bullying and misogyny made on company head Les Wexner further hit the brand.
