The grand finale of Miss Universe India 2024 took place in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on September 22, where Rhea Singha was crowned the winner. Miss Universe 2015, Urvashi Rautela, crowned Rhea during the event. The 19-year-old beauty queen was overjoyed with her victory and expressed her gratitude.
Rhea Singha Crowned Miss Universe India 2024, Set to Compete Internationally
After winning the title, Rhea told Asian News International, "Today I won the title of Miss Universe India 2024. I am so thankful. I have done so much work to get to this level where I can consider myself worthy enough for this crown. I am so inspired by the previous winners."
Pranjal Priya was named the first runner-up, followed by Chhavi Verg in second place. Sushmita Roy and Ruopfuzhano Whiso secured third and fourth place, respectively, with all contestants delivering impressive performances.
Who is Rhea Singha?
Rhea Singha, a 19-year-old from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is not only a model but also an actor and a student. She is the daughter of entrepreneur Brijesh Singha, director of eStore Factory, and Rita Singha. Currently, Rhea is studying performing arts at GLS University, where she also serves as the university’s ambassador.
Her journey in modelling began in 2020 when she won the Diva's Miss Teen Gujarat title at just 16 years old. She gained international exposure by competing in the Miss Teen Universe 2023 in Madrid, Spain, where she placed in the Top 6 out of 25 contestants. Rhea was also the runner-up at the JOY Times Fresh Face Season 14 competition in Mumbai in April 2023.
On September 22, 2024, Rhea achieved her biggest milestone by winning Miss Universe India 2024 at Zee Studios Jaipur, marking the first time the title was awarded under the Glamanand Group.
