Set in the small town of Malegaon in Maharashtra, India, Superboys of Malegaon is inspired by real events and follows the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker. In Malegaon, residents often turn to Bollywood cinema as an escape from their daily struggles. Driven by a passion to create a film for and by the people of Malegaon, Nasir rallies a ragtag group of friends to turn his dream into reality.
The film captures the newfound energy and hope that Nasir's project brings to the town. It's a poignant yet uplifting take on filmmaking, friendship, and the magic that happens when these two worlds collide.
