Joy’s solo album Hello is a remake album of hit songs from the 1990s and 2000s. The album will have a total of six tracks. During the live conference for her solo album, Joy said that these songs included in her solo album gave her a sense of healing.
The newly released single is a remake song of Korean singer Park Hye Kyung’s 2003 track titled Hello. The song is a modern rock song with deep lyrics about forgetting the difficult past and starting fresh. The remake of the song was arranged by artist KENZIE.
The initial announcement of Joy’s remake album triggered a lot of mixed feelings among fans. While many were excited for a new album from the artist, some were also doubtful because it was said to be a “remake” album. Some fans have assumed that the album will just be a collection of the Original Soundtracks (OST) that were previously released by Joy for Korean dramas. Read more on that here.
