Actor Rebel Wilson Comes Out On Social Media, Introduces Girlfriend Ramona Agruma

During Pride Month, Rebel Wilson came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. The actor-comedian recently wrote a heartfelt note for her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, on Instagram.

Rebel Wilson starred in popular romcoms like the Struck by Lightning, Pitch Perfect series, A Few Best Men, Senior Year, Bridesmaids, How To Be Single, What To Expect When You're Expecting, Grimsby, and Bachelorette. In recent years, she has appeared in projects like Isn't It Romantic, The Hustle, Jojo Rabbit and Cats. Meanwhile, her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma owns a sustainable clothing line in Los Angeles.

On Thursday, the 42-year-old actor took to her social media to introduce her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, a Los Angeles-based fashion designer. The actor publicly revealed her bisexuality in the post, which marked her coming out as a bisexual woman for the first time.

She shared the picture with her girlfriend and captioned it, "Thought I was searching for a Disney Prince... but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess. Love is love." She also added the hashtag #LoveIsLove to her post.

In a recent interview with People magazine, the actor hinted at her budding love, saying she met her partner "via a friend". She added in her interview, "Before the meeting, we talked on the phone for weeks. And that was a great way for us to get to know each other," she said at the time. "In that respect, it was a little old-school—extremely romantic."

Wilson's last relationship, according to People, was with Jacob Busch, an heir to the Anheuser-Busch fortune. Wilson spent some time working on herself and enjoying her single life after the two allegedly called it quits in early 2021; however, she remained optimistic about finding her ideal partner.

She went on to share, "I believe that when you gain more self-worth, your expectations of a partner rise, and it's wonderful to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship. There were instances when I was probably putting up with things I shouldn't have — I'm not saying all of my ex-boyfriends were bad — but there were occasions when I was probably putting up with things I shouldn't have. So being in a truly healthy relationship feels different."
