In an interview with Hindustan Times, Tanuj expressed relief and happiness, saying, "Both mother and daughter are healthy. The delivery was smooth and went really well. Her water broke at 4 am, and we rushed to the hospital. It’s been quite a day for us."

Tanuj shared that his parents, Rati Agnihotri and Anil Virwani, are by his side at the hospital, overwhelmed with joy at becoming grandparents. "They just can't believe they have become grandparents. It’s an amazing feeling," he said. He also mentioned that they have not yet settled on a name for their baby girl, stating, "We're still discussing and deciding. We'll make the final decision in the next couple of days."

Tanuj, who has had a good run across OTT platforms, has notably contributed to various shows, including Code M, Inside Edge, Poison, One Night Stand, and Illegal. Tanuj and Tanya got engaged in November 2023, choosing a more intimate path for their wedding despite the trend of lavish celebrations in Bollywood. The couple had a quiet ceremony in December 2023, preferring a close-knit affair.
