Rashmika Mandana Pushpa: The popular actor recently revealed her first look as Srivalli, from her first pan India project, the film Pushpa which also stars Allu arjun in the lead role. Mandana is seen in a raw and rustic avatar in the poster, which shows her wearing a yellow saree, sitting with a bunch of flowers.
Overwhelmed by the positive responses, Rashmika expressed her gratitude to fans and audiences and shared that it was gratifying to receive such heartwarming compliments on her first look from Pushpa. She said that she was nervous and excited but was glad for all the love for Pushpa.
According to a report, she added that it was her very first Pan India project and she personally believed that for her, it had provided the opportunity to explore a different side of herself as an actor. "It is remarkably going to unlock yet another milestone," she said and added that she could not wait for her fans and audiences to see her bring alive the character of Srivalli which is the 'soul' of the film Pushpa.
The first part of the film's shooting reportedly took place in the woods of Maredu Milli in Andhra Pradesh for fifteen days. The makers of the film have announced that the second song from the movie, ‘Srivalli’, will be released on October 13. The song will be reportedly released in five languages. Along with Allu Arjun, the film also stars Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil.
The film is based on real-life events of red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. Mandana's look from the film has received praises online from fans across all quarters and many expressed anticipation to see her portrayal of Srivalli in Pushpa. The first song from the movie, Pushpa Daakko Daakko Meka, that released on August 13 and has over 6 crore views so far on YouTube.
She is set to make her Bollywood debut with Mission Majnu, alongside Siddharth Malhotra. She will also appear in Goodbye, which also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
