Rani Mukerji Wraps Shoot For Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, A Film Based On True Incident

Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway shoot: Recently actor Rani Mukerji in an emotional text announced the wrap up of the Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway shoot. She said she is excited about its release in 'theatres'. The film's post-production work is left and the date of release is yet to be announced.

The post-shoot excitement in the team seems to be running high as the actors take to social media to share their emotions about the shoot. Rani Mukerji too shared her excitement and said, "It's a really sweet coincidence that I wrapped the shoot of Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway on the same days that my first Hindi film 'Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat!"

Mukerji also said that she had an amazing time shooting the film with producer Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani, Zee Studios and director Ashima Chibber. She hopes that the brilliant concept of the film resonates with everyone.

The announcement of the completion of the shoot was first posted online by Emmay Entertainment, "And it's a wrap already! Feels like we had just started shooting for #MrsChatterjeeVsNorway. We can't wait for the film to hit the theatres now!"

The first half of the film was shot in Estonia which was an alternative for the makers of the film to a 'cumbersome process' of acquiring visas to Nordic countries. Even though the first choice of producer Nikhil Advani was Norway, the makers did not want to wait too long as it was a prep-heavy film.

Mukerji started the 45 days shoot for the film in early August this year. The film directed by Ashima Chibber is reportedly based on the 2011 incident in Norway where a couple's children were taken away by the Norway Social Services as the couples were announced unfit to raise their children.

It is a busy year for Rani Mukerji, her film with Saif Ali Khan, Sidhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh, Bunty Aur Babli 2 is also wrapped and waiting for a release date.
