Actor Ram Charan And Upasana Blessed With Baby Daughter

Actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela have welcomed their first child. The couple was blessed with a daughter on 20 June 2023 in Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The news was announced by the Hospital bulletin.  

The baby and Mother are doing well as informed by the hospital. 

Veterinary actor Chiranjeevi, father of actor Ram Charan visited the hospital to bless the couple and welcome his granddaughter.

Ram Charan Upsana Daughter

Last week Upasana took to her Instagram to share a picture from Apollo Hospital with the caption “Something very special coming soon.” The couple announced the pregnancy last year in December. 

Upasana and Ram Charan welcomed their first child after 10 years of marriage. Upasana has recently opened up in an interview with Humans of Bombay about her late pregnancy. She spoke about how she is proud of becoming a mother when the couple wanted and not when society wanted them to.

Upasana added that 10 years of marriage is the best time for them to have a kid as they both are booming, and financially secure to take care of the kids by themselves. She adds that it speaks a lot about their relationship and how will they raise their child.  

Upasana and Ram Charan are also reported to be shifted back to Ram Charan’s parent’s house saying “We don’t want our child to be deprived of that joy.”  

Kala Bhairava who sang the Academy Awards-winning song Naatu Naatu composed a soothing melody gifting it to the first child of actor Ram Charan and Upasana. The couple took to Instagram to share the melody.  

Ram Charan was seen in the globally recognised film RRR and will next be seen in his Hollywood debut after Alia Bhatt, and Upsana is a renowned businesswoman. She is the vice chairperson of Apollo Hospitals. 

The couple had met through a mutual friend and developed a bond. The renowned actor proposed to Upsana in 2011 and the couple got married a year later.
