Actor Rajkummar Rao Asks Patralekhaa To Fill His 'Maang' With Sindoor

Rajkummar Rao recently shared a short wedding video that took place in Chandigarh. During the last few seconds of the clip, the actor can be seen telling Patrelekhaa Paul, "Tum bhi laga do”, indicating her to put the sindoor or vermillion on his upper forehead. And the wife gladly does it. It is refreshing to see such twists where the bride and the groom accept each other as their equal partners.
Fans are very happy with this feat and showering their love on the actor duo. Rao shared the video on Instagram writing, "Sharing a glimpse of the most beautiful day of our lives with all of you." In the video, he can be heard saying, "Honestly it's been 10-11 years but it feels like we just started dating, we just love each other's company so much. So we thought let's just do it, let's be husband and wife."
The couple first reportedly knew about each other as screen characters. While Patralekhaa saw Rao in his debut film Love, Sex Aur Dhokha in 2010, Rao saw his lady love on a television commercial, apparently vowing to marry her. The two began dating in 2010. Their first on-screen appearance together was in the 2014 film CityLights.
