Rahul Vaidya-Disha Parmar wedding date announced: Television actor Disha Parmar and singer Rahul Vaidya are all set to tie the knot this month in Mumbai. The couple is set to get married on July 16 in the presence of close friends and family. They have shared details of their low-key "intimate" wedding.
As reported by ETimes, the ceremony is going to be a close-knit affair with only family members and close friends. Both Vaidya and Parmar confirmed the news on their social media revealing that they always wanted it to be a small affair as they believe that wedding has to be enjoyed with their loved ones. Taking to his Instagram, the singer and Bigg Boss 14 contestant shared pictures of Parmar holding a t-shirt with "Marry Me?" written on it.
"A T shirt I can never ever forget .. had proposed to my girl using this. Gonna frame it!" he wrote last week.
In November last year, while he was still inside the Bigg Boss house, Vaidya had proposed to Parmar and she had publicly accepted his proposal. She came on the show as a special guest for the Valentine’s Day episode.
Vaidya recently said that a low-key ceremony is exactly what they wanted. The marriage will be held according to the Vedic rituals and the couple will also have Gurbani Shabad sung at the ceremony, he revealed. The Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 contestant revealed that Parmar and he has been dating for two years now.
Parmar, meanwhile, said that her idea of an ideal wedding ceremony is an "intimate affair". Marriage, for her, is a union of two people and their respective families with their dear ones in attendance and that’s exactly what she is going ahead with, a "simple ceremony". The couple featured in a wedding-themed song Madhanya earlier this year. While Vaidya finished shooting for the adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, which will premiere on July 17, Parmar is known for her roles in shows such as Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and Woh Apna Sa.
