One of the most talked-about films of the year is Pushpa: The Rise. The film, which stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, was released on December 17th. It was the highest-grossing Indian film of the year in 2021. Not only are the performances fantastic, but the music throughout the film is amazing as well. Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), the music composer known for songs like Dinka Chika, Ringa Ringa, and Seeti Maar, among others, deserves credit.

Pushpa: The Rise is available in five distinct languages. All of the songs were also released in many languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Samantha's dance performance in the film, Oo Antava, became a chartbuster. DSP explained why Samantha was chosen for the item song in one of the recent interviews.

According to DSP, “The item song was written before deciding on the female actor.  Samantha was chosen by both the director and the producer. I found out about it only two days before she was confirmed for the song. She was just a  great choice. She gave the song a fresh feeling. We've all seen her in a variety of roles, but this was a complete and stunning metamorphosis. This is also her first item number, and she amazed the audience with her performance. I appreciate everything that she has done for the song.”

DSP also shared a funny thing that one of his fans had brought to his attention. "One of my followers brought into my notice that most of the South's A-list female actors have recorded songs to DSP's music. Samantha's Oo Antava follows in the footsteps of Kajal Agarwal's Pakka Local in Ganta Garage, Pooja Hedge's Jigelu Rani, and Tamannah Bhatia's Swing Zara in Jai Lava Kusa. This is something that is unforgettable. "He expressed himself.

Not only Oo Antava but all of Pushpa: The Rise's tracks are also chart-topping in numerous languages. DSP went on to add more on the matter, saying "It is necessary to know the language since it facilitates in the development of music in different languages. Making all of the songs in all of the languages at the same time is a time-consuming process, especially since recording the vocals in five different languages took me around a month to a month and a half for each song, aside from developing and recording the orchestration. Pushpa songs can be heard in a variety of languages, which is surprising. For us, this is a tremendous achievement."
