'Pushpa 2: The Rule' Release Moved To New Date: What We Know

Allu Arjun's much-awaited movie Pushpa 2: The Rule has a new release date. The film will now hit theatres worldwide by the year-end, as announced by the makers.

Pushpa 2: The Rule has a new release date. The film will now hit theatres worldwide on December 6, as announced by the makers. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the sequel to Arjun's blockbuster Pushpa 1: The Rise, which was a massive hit after its release in December 2021.

'Pushpa 2' Release Delayed, Now Hitting Theaters on December 6 

On June 17, production banner Mythri Movie Makers shared the new release date on X, stating that the movie, initially set to release on August 15, will now arrive later to ensure a better experience.

"We intend to give you the best. The wait increases for a memorable experience on the big screens. #Pushpa2TheRule Grand release worldwide on 6th DECEMBER 2024. His rule will be phenomenal. His rule will be unprecedented," the studio posted along with a new poster.

Mythri Movie Makers also explained the delay. "'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is one of the most anticipated Indian films. Our responsibility to deliver excellence has increased significantly after the success of 'Pushpa: The Rise'. Due to the remaining shoot and post-production work, we won't release the film on August 15, 2024," they said.

The much-anticipated teaser for Sukumar’s upcoming film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, was released on April 8. The teaser of Pushpa: The Rule provides a glimpse of a temple festival atmosphere, featuring Allu Arjun's character, Pushparaj, adorned in a saree and wielding a Trishul. As he navigates through the festival grounds, Pushparaj encounters and confronts a group of thugs, displaying his formidable strength in front of a mesmerised crowd.

Much-anticipated Teaser

The teaser highlights the intense 'Jaathara' sequence, synonymous with the vibrant festival of 'Sammakka Saralamma Jaathara,' which honours tribal goddesses and is celebrated annually in Telangana. Drawing millions of devotees each year, this four-day event is a testament to the rich cultural heritage and fervent religious traditions of the region.

Allu Arjun Celebrates 42nd Birthday with Fanfare

Adding to the excitement, Allu Arjun celebrated his 42nd birthday on April 8 with much fanfare. The celebrations were hosted by his wife, Allu Sneha Reddy at their residence in Hyderabad. The décor of the party paid homage to the actor's achievements, notably his recent accolade of having a wax statue installed at Madame Tussauds in Dubai. The actor's loyal fans thronged outside his home, eagerly awaiting the opportunity to convey their wishes and greetings. In a heartwarming gesture, Allu Arjun stepped out to greet his admirers, expressing gratitude for their unwavering love and support.
