Lollapalooza Crowd Chants 'Jiju' For Nick Jonas
The Jonas Brothers, comprising Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas, captivated thousands of fans with their debut performance in Mumbai on the first day of the Lollapalooza festival. Before taking the stage, a lively track, Gallan Goodiyaan from the film Dil Dhadakne Do, was played to set the mood for the night.
Acknowledging their special connection with India, Nick Jonas humorously mentioned that the sangeet ceremony of his wedding with Priyanka in 2018 did not count as their first performance in the country. The trio delighted the audience with a mix of soft and peppy songs, including Celebrate, Sucker, What a Man Gotta Do, Close, and Jealous, among others.
Expressing his gratitude to the enthusiastic crowd, Nick Jonas thanked the fans for their incredible energy throughout the day. As the audience cheered, Nick surprised everyone with his rendition of Maan Meri Jaan, titled Afterlife, accompanied by rapper King on stage, who sang in Hindi.
Before concluding their performance with Leave Before You Love Me, Nick promised the audience they would return soon for another unforgettable night. He expressed his gratitude once more, stating, "We shall come back and do this again sometime very soon. We have one more for you."
After their performance at the Lollapalooza festival in Mumbai, the Jonas Brothers were welcomed by Natasha Poonawalla at a lavish bash she hosted. Among the attendees were Bhumi and Samiksha Pednekar, Malaika and Amrita Arora, Madhuri Dixit, Dr Shriram Nene, Sonam Kapoor, and Anand Ahuja.
