Priyanka Chopra Walks Out Of Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zara: Reports

Bollywood's highly anticipated film Jee Le Zara with the popular Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, and Priyanka Chopra has kept the fans excited since the announcement of the film. 

The film was supposed to be a spiritual sequel to famous friends' trips movies Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara but this time it was a girls' trip that had us all excited, but what went wrong that had Priyanka Chopra walk out of the film? 

Priyanka Chopra Walks Out Of Jee Le Zara:

When Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zara was first announced the fans were stoked by a women-centric road trip movie and that too with such a stellar cast. But Farhan Akhtar had delayed the shooting according to recent reports prolonging the wait of fans. And now another rumour is making up the headlines about Chopra walking out of the cast. 

The Twitter handle of an entertainment media reporter Movified Bollywood sharing a picture of the old cast has announced that Chopra has walked out of the cast and filmmakers are looking to replace Chopra with Anushka Sharma or Kiara Advani.

There has been no official announcement made by the filmmakers or by the actress but netizens swamped the internet after the news. While many were saddened by Chopra's exit others requested Akhtar to rope in Deepika Padukone for Chopra's role replacement.

A Twitter user wrote, "Add Deepika and put a Ranbir Kapoor cameo, no one will know it's a Bachna Ae Haseeno part 2." 

As per Bollywood Hungama reports, the unavailability of dates of Chopra was the reason for her to walk out of the film. Though Akhtar was willing to postpone the shooting schedule to 2024, Alia had two mega projects ahead of her in the upcoming year 2024 s she will be starring in SLB's Baiju Bawra and Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan. 

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in Bollywood in the film The Sky Is Pink along with Farhan Akhtar while she was last seen in Hollywood's spy thriller Citadel opposite Richard Madden helmed by Russo Brothers released this year streaming on Amazon Prime. Chopra was also seen in the film Love Again with Sam Heughen.
