Celebrating The Desi Way, Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas Share Pictures Of Holi Celebrations

The pictures and videos while celebrating the Holi festival shared by Priyanka Chopra on her social media have taken over the internet. Netizens are thankful that the actor and her husband went all desi during the celebration of the festival of colours.

Social media, since yesterday, had an influx of images with people posing in their randomly coloured clothing and celebrating Holi with family and friends. Chopra too shared a couple of images and videos posing with Jonas, family and friends while donning white clothing splashed with colours.

She picked up a line from one of the Holi songs that she was part of with Akshay Kumar for the film Waqt: The Race Against Time and wrote, "Do me a favour..let's play holi. Sorry. Had to! (emojis) #holihai."

The first picture shared by Chopra had her in a white dress with loads of silver jewellery and blue colour in her right hand as she posed for the click. The second one had Jonas in floral shorts and a light blue shirt which had been coloured beyond recognition as he held a couple of colour packets in his hand and all set to celebrate the festival. The third one had Chopra and Jonas pose and air kiss over the fence.

She also shared a series of videos with the caption, "To be able to find some joy at a time when the world feels so scary is such a blessing. Happy holi everyone. On January 21 this year, the couple took to social media to announce the birth of their child through surrogacy. "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much," the couple had written on social media.

The couple had gotten married in a lavish wedding in India and occasionally post on celebrations of festivals of India. In the past three years, Chopra has been asked multiple times about her plans on extending the family and in the Netflix show titled Jonas Brother Family Roast Chopra had said, "I just want to say that Nick and I are expecting...to get drunk and have fun."
