Priyanka Chopra was reportedly caught flouting lockdown rules in London on Wednesday. The actor, who is currently living in London shooting for a film named Text For You, was seen visiting a salon with her mother when police came and appeared to vacate the salon.
The actor has however denied the allegation. Her spokesperson said that the salon was privately opened for Chopra the production team of Text For You film. The spokesperson also claimed that everyone including Priyanka had tested for the COVID-19 and as per the UK guidelines, which has allowed film and television production, every paperwork was presented to the police and "they left satisfied."
The incident was reported by DailyMail which showed pictures of Priyanka Chopra and her mother at a salon owned by celebrity stylist Josh Wood in Notting Hill, London. The pictures also showed police stopping by and then Chopra was captured stepping out of the salon. She also had her dog accompanying her.
According to the new lockdown rules announced by the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, personal care facilities such as salons must be closed. These services aren’t even allowed to be provided at other people’s homes. Boris Johnson had also announced that anyone breaking these rules can be fined with a hefty amount up to 10,000 euros. The announcement was made after many tested positive of a deadlier COVID-19 strain in the UK.

Chopra was seen donning a white puffer overcoat with a brown sling bag and white shoes. Her mother Madhu Chopra was also wearing a puffer jacket in dark colour. Priyanka Chopra was seen wearing a white face mask in a few pictures. DailyMail reported that the actor left the salon with a bag full of goodies.
The actor has been posting pictures with her husband and singer Nick Jones while the two stay in London. The movie Text For You is a remake of a German film. It is directed by James C. Strouse. Priyanka Chopra in the film will share the screen space with Celine Dion, Celia Imrie, Russell Tovey and Sam Heughan.
