Priyanka Chopra To Work Alongside Captain America Star Anthony Mackie In "Ending Things"

After Matrix Resurrections, actor Priyanka Chopra will be starring in another Hollywood film, this time alongside Captain America star Anthony Mackie. The upcoming film is described as a True Lies-style action thriller film, which is directed and written by Kevin Sullivan, who is also a producer.

Titled Ending Things, the film is about a hitwoman, who wants it out of the assassin business and tells her "partner" that she wants to quit on both professional and personal fronts. It is only later that she realises that she does not want to end it and the two join hands for one last job together after their breakup. Presumably, Chopra will be playing the hitwoman's role for this film.

Since her debut in Hollywood, this is not the first time that Chopra will be part of an action film. Infact, she made her debut with the Quantico series, which was in the action genre as well. She will soon be seen in Citadel, an action-thriller web series that is produced by the Russo Brothers and will release online on Amazon.

Apart from these two, she also has a romantic comedy Text For You, alongside Sam Heughan, scheduled to release this year. Mackie too has a busy schedule he working on Marvel's upcoming Captain America film and also The Falcon's second season. He recently wrapped up a shoot for Desert Warrior, which is directed by Rupert Wyatt.

The storyline for Chopra's upcoming project does sound intriguing, however, this trope of a hitman trying the quit the job has been explored extensively in the Barry series on HBO. Although, it will be interesting to see how this film stands out from the regular.

Career-wise Chopra is flooded with Hollywood and Bollywood projects, that are lined up for production and release back to back. She has been in news for her personal life too. The actor and her husband Nick Jonas have recently welcomed a baby girl through surrogacy. This is their first child. The couple got married after dating for a long, at a lavish wedding ceremony in Rajasthan in the year 2018.
