Choreographer-filmmaker Prabhu Deva became a father to a daughter at the age of 50. He welcomed a baby girl with his second wife, Dr Himani Singh on Monday.
The ace dancer announced the birth of his daughter and mentioned how he felt happy and complete as a father.
Prabhu Deva Blessed With Baby Girl
Prabhu Deva has three sons Vishal, Rishi and Adith from his first marriage to Ramlatha Deva. In 2008, Deva lost his son Vishal due to cancer. Deva and Ramlatha parted ways in 2010 after their divorce.
In 2020, Prabhu Deva married Dr Himani Singh and now after the birth of his daughter, he expressed his wish to spend more time with his family. The actor said he felt he was surrounded by work a lot and always kept running for more, but now he has cut his workload to spend time with his family.
Prabhu Deva informed ETimes "Yes it is true! I am a father at this age. I feel very very happy and complete."
Prabhu Deva Marriage
Prabhu Deva got married to Himani Singh, a physiotherapist by profession. They are said to have had their meet-cute when she was recommended to the actor for his chronic backache. The two tied the knot in 2020 in an intimate ceremony with very few people and the marriage was announced by the actor's brother.
Himani and Prabhu Deva made their first public in April 2023 when the couple visited Tirupati Balaji Temple. Later, they also came to a reality TV show where Himani listed things she likes about her Deva.
The couple now had their first child together and it is the first daughter in Prabhu Deva's family. The two are excited about their new journey together as parents.
On the work front, Prabhu will next be seen in the film Petta Rap, directed by SJ Sinu and produced by Jobi P Sam.
