Potluck release date and time: Viewers are looking forward to the release of Potluck web series ever since its trailer dropped last month. It features Kitu Gidwani, Ira Dubey, Shikha Talsania, Jatin Sial and Cyrus Sahukar in the lead roles. The Rajshree Ojha directorial talks about ageing parents and their need to be closer to their grown up kids who now have a life and family of their own.

What is Potluck about?

Potluck revolves around the Shastri family. It is a light-hearted family drama highlighting the importance of family bonding and togetherness. The father of the family, Govind Shastri (Jatin Sial) wants to bring his family closer after his retirement. So he and his wife (Kitu Gidwani) fake his illness. This forces their daughter and two married sons to reunite. The coming together of families with different opinions, lifestyles and priorities leads to a comedy of confusion. But that's not all. There's more to the story and we'll know it once we watch the series for ourselves.

Cyrus Sahukar will be seen in the role of Vikrant Shastri, the eldest son of the family whose choices are constantly questioned by his loved ones. For him, the making of the series has been an incredible experience. Speaking about the show in an interview, he elaborated how the show brings out the collective beauty that people with diverse thoughts and ideas have, in spite of being part of the same community. "However, it is this very diversity that makes our lives fascinating and fun. The location and cast made it a memorable journey," he added.

The actor-VJ further said that he developed a natural bond with the cast and one can see that playing out on the screen. "The audience will surely love it," he further said.
