Actor-model Pooja Bedi, however, has called the mass vaccination drive against COVID-19 in India 'sinister' and 'illogical'.
The anti-vaxxer took to Twitter and said that the government needs to focus more on isolating, vaccinating & masking people who have comorbidities and are vulnerable to COVID-19.
"If 99% survive Covid with or without the vaccine the govt needs to focus on isolating, vaccinating & masking THOSE who have COMBORBITIES & are in the risk bracket. NOT VACCINATE the whole world! & certainly not discriminate against unvaccinated! It's illogical & Sinister! (sic).", her tweet said. She has also tagged the Prime Minister, the United Nations and other civic bodies adding, "Is there a credible answer to this question? Why are 100% of the population being subjected to a vaccine when 99% survive Covid? Survival rate prior to vaccine was 99% Survival rate post vaccine is 99%."
She believes that even the cloth masks majority wear are not effective against the virus and even N95 is only 95% effective.
Her tweet and the argument put forward by her didn't go down well with some netizens. One user asked her to shut up adding that they will login into her WhatsApp groups if required.

In April this year, the anti-vaxxer posted her video on social media where she was seen having a good time on the beaches of Goa. The caption of the post read, "Free your mind #NoFear Life is meant to be lived… not spent caged and masked for a year/ years in fear of a virus that’s clearly not going away!”.
