The announcement that celebrities Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan will attend the audio and trailer launch event at Nehru Stadium in Chennai has thrilled fans as well.
Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Rahman, and R Parthiban are among the star-studded cast members of the movie. In addition, the trailer will be released in five different languages: Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The trailers will be voiced in this variety of languages by iconic stars of the respective cultures which include - Kamal Haasan, Anil Kapoor, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Rana Daggubati, and Jayant Kaikini, according to the film's creators.
Ponniyin Selvan I relates the tale of Arul Mozhivarman, who overcame a coup to attain the throne of the Chola kingdom. Vallavaraiyan Vandiyadevan, a messenger for Aditya Karikalan, who travels through the southern kingdoms to deliver the information between the Cholas, would be the one who tells the tale. Additionally, a romance between Aditya and Queen Nandini was hinted at in the movie's ">teaser.
Ponniyin Selvan I trailer is set to launch at 9 pm on September 6, 2022. The film will be out in theatres by the end of this month on September 30th.
