Payal Rohatgi And Sangram Singh's Wedding Date Is Set

Former Lock Upp contestant and actor Payal Rohatgi and wrestler Sangram Singh are all set to tie the knot After 12 years of courtship, the couple is going to get married soon. They had earlier disclosed the month of their wedding, recently, they also revealed the date when they will get hitched.

The two had gotten engaged in 2014 and since then have been together. The couple, in a media interview, revealed that they will be having a "low key" destination wedding. They had previously revealed on social media that the tentative month for a wedding is going to be July this year.

Without revealing the date, they had dropped a picture of the two of them and written, "Coming this July...Where we get to say the vows!!! And be wedding-bound! Love Sangram & Payal."

Recently in an interview with the Times of India, they shared that they have decided on a tentative date in the announced month when the two will tie the knot. They also revealed that this decision was taken with the help of Singh's mother and sister.

"Payal and I will get married on July 9. My mother and sister helped us finalise the date. We are currently in the process of zeroing in on the venue. We will have a destination wedding, which will be a low-key affair, either in Ahmedabad or Udaipur, " Singh said.

They had been wanting to get married earlier but unfortunately, the wedding had to be cancelled twice because of a personal loss. This time the couple are ready in terms of the date of marriage and have said that they will also be having a reception party in Mumbai for their friends and colleagues from the industry.

The couple first met each other on the sets of a reality show titled Survivor India in 2011. Rohatgi is a television actor, who has also been part in Hindi-language films. She was also a contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss in 2008 and in 2022 was the runner-up for ALT Balaji's reality show hosted by Kangana Ranaut, Lock Upp.
