This March, Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, will have its OTT debut. Siddharth Anand, the director, has hinted that some cut scenes might appear in the OTT version.
Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham starred in the action movie, which came out on January 25. The Yash Raj Films production has become the most popular Hindi movie of all time. As it continues to play in theaters across the world, including those in the US, Canada, UAE, Egypt, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, it marked its 50th day on Wednesday. The Hindi movie has already made over 540 crores in home theaters. The movie's digital debut will take place 56 days after its theatrical release, according to a Peeping Moon report.
Pathaan On OTT:
On March 22, 56 days after its theatrical release, the smash hit Pathaan will make its Amazon Video debut. There may potentially be some deleted sequences in the Siddharth Anand movie, as the director admitted earlier; a section that explains Pathaan's origins were removed from the theatrical edition.
In a recent interview, the director made some allusions to the religion and history of the main character. In one scenario, Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan) is questioned by Rubai (Padukone) to determine whether he practices Islam. He says that when he helped save children in an Afghan village, he was given the name Pathaan.

According to Anand, "We all have the same set of values, and we all grew up watching and supporting the same movies. We agree with that. As a result, his lack of a name and the fact that he was discovered in a theater with the name Navrang... This was cut, although it might still be in the OTT version. None of us dismisses it as cheesy or looks down on it."
The filmmaker further disclosed that for their special cameo moment on the train, he had urged Salman Khan to make a reference to his 1995 film Karan Arjun with Shah Rukh. He said, "Salman was instructed to yell "bhaag Pathaan bhaag" and to do it in the style of "bhaag Arjun bhaag" (from Karan Arjun). The script didn't include it. I had to persuade Salman to join since it was funny. It was a lot of fun."
Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia are also featured in Pathaan. Vishal-Shekhar produced the soundtrack for the movie.
