Pathaan Released! What Is Next For Shah Rukh Khan?

For Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) it has been a dry spell for the last four years, with only a few cameo appearances in films including, Brahmastra, Laal Singh Chaddha, and Rocketry. Before that, he had back-to-back flops in form of Fan, Zero, Jab Harry Met Sejal, and more. After a brief break with the comeback film Pathaan release, SRK proved he is the real star and fan loves me crazily.

The fans can't keep calm anymore and gushing over SRK's comeback after four years. The theaters have gone full forced to double the shows. There have been several videos surfacing wherein the audience in the theater dancing, whistling, and going all gala over the film. It is spine-chilling and heartwarming to see so much love for the actor. Despite, so much resistance and controversies the film for its opening week is doing fine.

Upcoming Films Of Shah Rukh Khan

Jawan

In Jawan, SRK ">collaborated with South Indian director Atlee. The film is having legendary star casts such as Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Deepika Padukone. SRK will be seen in a dual role, the teaser is spine-chilling, and the film is slated to release in June 2023

Dunki

For the first ">time, filmmaker Raju Hirani and SRK are coming together. The fans will get to see the fresh pairing in SRK and Taapsee Pannu. Dunki means Donkey, the film took this title as in various parts of India Donkey is pronounced Dunki. Dunki is based on illegal migration. The film is set to release in December 2023

Hey Ram 

SRK's one aspirational project is a remake of Hey Ram. Shah has legally brought the rights to the 2000 movie Hey Ram from actor Kamal Haasan. The film revolves around the political unrest that emerged after Nathuram Godse’s assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. Although, whether SRK will be starring in the film or not is still a suspense.

Operation Khukri

The film Operation Khukri will have Shah Rukh Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles playing soldiers. The film is based on Operation Khukri which happened in Sierra Leone as a part of the United Nations Mission. The 233 soldiers of the Indian Army were shut off for almost three months without food in the jungles of Africa. The UN peacekeeping mission turned into a war for dignity in 2000. There was a war-like standoff between Major Punia's company and the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) rebels in Kailahun. The release date is not yet confirmed.

Salute

The film is based on former Indian Air force pilot Rakesh Sharma’s biopic. It is speculated that SRK will be doing this film.

Izhaar 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film titled Izhaar will see SRK as the lead actor. The film is a true love story of a man who cycled from India to Norway for a girl.

SRK also has a few untitled projects for which the talks are underway. One is Chak De! India director Shimit Amin's film is speculated to be a romantic period drama. Another project is with Raees director Rahul Dholakia. The film is speculated to be a biographical-war film based on firefighter Tukaram.
