Ankahi Ansuni OTT Release: Paresh Pahuja & Veebha Anand Starrer Release Date, Where To Watch

Paresh Pahuja, who has shared screen space with Salman Khan in Tiger Zinda Hai, is all set to team up with Veebha Anand for the upcoming horror thriller Ankahi Ansuni.

The trailer of the short series released on Instagram with the caption: "Jhaagi shehar mein din ho ya raat, darr ka saamna kabhi bhi ho sakta hai."

Ankahi Ansuni will have an OTT release on July 15. In the one-minute-55-second trailer, we see cop Umesh (played by Pahuja) undertaking a case of missing girls. Demoted for misconduct, he is posted to a small town called Jhaagi, known for unsolved crimes and mysterious sightings. What is the mystery behind those missing girls? Does this incident have some supernatural connection or it is a crime committed by a man, answering these questions the series is arriving this week.

Veebha Anand started her career on the small screen with hit show Balika Vadhu followed by a role in Shree. She shared the trailer on her Instagram handle on Tuesday and wrote, "It has been a roller coaster ride shooting this one. Lockdown, permission issues, unpredictable rains and finally, we are able to bring you our show." Anand made her debut in films in 2011 in the movie Isi Life Me. Anand was later seen in several popular television dramas like Sukh by Chance, Sanskaar Laxmi, Kairi — Rishta Khatta Meetha, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Mahabharat. After her successful stint with MTV India's Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, Anand appeared in series like Begusarai, Karmaphal Dataa Shani and Laal Ishq.

The young actor will be seen playing the role of a police constable in the upcoming show.

The cast of Ankahi Ansuni has Veebha Anand, Paresh Pahuja in lead roles while Swati Rajput, Vibhuti Upadhyay, and Avtar Vaishnani will be seen in key roles.

Release Date

All the episodes of this show will be streamed on July 15 in India.

Where To Watch

Ankahi Ansuni is created by Saad Khan, and follows the story of a demoted young police inspector of UP police who is transferred to a fictional town Jhaagi. The series is set to have 20 episodes of short length and will release on Disney+Hotstar.
