Hindi OTT Releases: A plethora of new films and series premiering on digital platforms has us glued to the screens for a long-time now. With theatres remaining closed across the country, the spotlight has stayed directed at the OTT space. Creators are releasing big budget films to long-awaited sequels on the streaming sites.
Much like the former months, several upcoming films as well as series are lined-up to be premiered online. Sort through this list of new releases slated to hit the OTT platforms this month.

Balcony Buddies

The story given birth by the coronavirus-induced lockdown focuses on the accidental friendship between two strangers. The Special Interactive Film starring Amol Parashar and Aisha Ahmed, while being away due to the social-distancing, find company in each other and develop a great bond.

The upcoming thriller film, revenge story, has Manoj Bajpayee essaying the role of Nikhil Sood, who gets a mysterious caller during his shift in the control room. The caller happens to know every detail about Sood and his family yet remains unknown. Neena Gupta plays the antagonist while Sakshi Tanwar essays the role of Bajpayee’s wife.
Shershaah

The war-drama is a tribute to the valour of Kargil War Hero, Captain Vikram Batra, who gave away his life to save his comrade. Batra's tragic martyrdom during the India-Pakistan conflict in 1999 serves as the crux of the film while his relationship with his love interest Dimple progresses simultaneously.
Bhuj: The Pride of India
Where to watch: Disney Hotstar
The Ajay Devgn starrer set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, focuses on IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, the then in-charge of the Bhuj airport. When the IAF airstrip gets destroyed in combat, 300 local women lend a hand to the IAF in the reconstruction. The act of resilience eventually helped us win the war.

Based on a true story that shook the nation when 200 Dalit women barged into a courtroom before the proceedings commenced and lynched a gangster and rapist in open court. The film stars Amol Palekar, Barun Sobti, Rinku Rajguru and Sahil Khattar in prominent roles.
