OTT February Releases : The first week of February is packed with many movies and series releases on different OTT platforms. If you are planning to stay home and binge-watch series or movies, then you have got yourself sorted.
From Taapsee Pannu's Looop Lapeta to Jim Sarbh's Rocket Boys, you have it all. Here is the list of series and movies making OTT release during the first weekend of February.
OTT First Weekend February Releases
Looop Lapeta-
The comedy action thriller casts Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the main role. The story is about a girlfriend trying to save the life of her boyfriend after he is threatened with his life by losing money to mobsters. The movie by Aakash Bhatia will be released on Netflix on February 4, 2022, and will mark its debut in the category of feature films.
Looop Lapeta's story is adapted from a German movie by the name Run Lola Run. The movie produced by Sony Pictures Films India and Ellipsis Entertainment will be available for the Indian audience from 1.30 PM IST on the OTT platform.
Rocket Boys-
The series has been dedicated to the life of eminent Indian scientists Homi Jehangir Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai. It carves out the personalities of two physicists of India who helped India leap towards bright scientific embarkments. The period drama features Jim Sarbh, Ishwak Singh, Regina Cassandra among the main roles. Jim Sarbh plays the Bhabha who is considered the father of nuclear physics in India, while Ishwak Singh plays Vikram Sarabhai, who played a crucial role in the formation of the Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO).
It has been produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani, and Madhu Bhojwani, under the banner of Roy Kapur Films and Emmay Entertainment. The series will be streaming on the SonyLIV OTT platform from February 4, 2022.

The Great India Murder
With Richa Chadha and Pratik Gandhi in the main role, the series is a murder mystery as it tries to entangle different versions of the same murder. The son of an influential politician is murdered and there is a demand for CBI enquiry for the same. Gandhi and Chadha play the role of investigating officer at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and try to resolve the case.
The series is based on the book Six Suspect by author and former Indian diplomat Vikas Swarup. He was part of Indian Foreign Services(IFS) and retired as the Secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs. It will start streaming on Disney+Hotstar from February 4, 2022.
Through My Window
The romantic movie involving the love story of Raquel and her neighbour, will be released on February 4 on Netflix. The long-time crush on neighbour turns into deep emotional attachment as he starts reciprocating Raquel with love and care. Despite his family's objections, he goes for her. The movie is an adaptation of the 2016 Wattpad novel by author Ariana Godoy. It stars Clara Galle, Julio Peña, Guillermo Lasheras, Eric Masip, Pilar Castro, Hugo Arbues among other.
Murderville-
The television series deals with case of murder mystery, and will start streaming from February 3, 2022. It is based on the BBC series Murder in Successville. With a total of six episodes, it will cast Will Arnett, Haneefah Wood, Lilan Bowden, and Philip Smithey as the main leads. For every episode, different guests are invited to solve a particular murder case. The murder investigation is tried to be deconstructed without the script with the invited guests.
