Just a few days remain until the 95th Academy Awards, and IMDb has shared a list of some of the best-reviewed Indian movies that have received Oscar nominations in a variety of categories. Over the years, a number of prestigious titles have faced off in international competition, starting with Mother India in 1957.

Naatu Naatu from RRR is up for the best original song, All That Breathes is up for best documentary feature film, and The Elephant Whisperers is up for best documentary short film this year.

India will be represented at the Oscars by all three of these films. A variety of feature films, documentaries, and documentary shorts from India that have received ratings from IMDb users worldwide are included in the list.

Salaam Bombay!

Salaam Bombay! is directed by Mira Nair. The film stars Murari Sharma, Shafiq Syed, Anjaan, and Amrit Patel. In India's back alleys and gutters, young Krishna battles for survival among drug dealers, pimps, and prostitutes.

Mother India

Mehboob Khan served as director. Rajendra Kumar Tuli, Raj Kumar, Nargis, and Sunil Dutt were the actors in the film. The protagonist of this melodrama struggles mightily to raise her two sons. She always adheres to her own moral code, though, despite the difficulties.
