In tandem with standard quarantine protocols, the individual who tested positive is currently in isolation and shooting for the movie will expectedly resume after 14 days.

Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, Hollywood studios have ensured that shooting for movies is resumed with extensive safety protocols and sanitisation measures in place. However, besides Don’t Worry Darling, other major movies have also had to halt production in the recent past after their cast or crew members tested positive for the virus. The list includes names like Jurassic World: Dominion, The Batman, and The Harder They Fall.

Don’t Worry Darling, a psychological thriller set during the 1950s, traces the tale of an unhappy housewife as she discovers a disturbing truth about her husband. Notably, Wilde has also written the movie’s script along with Carey and Shane Van Dyke and Katie Silberman. She is also producing the movie along with Silberman and Roy Lee and Miri Moon of Vertigo Entertainment. Actors like Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, and Nick Kroll are a part of the film’s ensemble cast.
